We know Isaac d’Olier was born in Montauban in southern France in approximately 1667.

His son (also called Isaac) moved to Dublin and started a family; where his youngest son Jeremiah was a member of the Wide Streets Commission, (as well as being a founder in the Bank of Ireland).

D’Olier Street was named after him.  See maps below for exact locations.
